  • The Internet Movie Database has added a tagline and a shot plot outline for Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. It could be considered a minor spoiler regarding the plot, so if you don’t want to know A THING about it, don’t swipe below. Otherwise, have at it. Chances are the trailer will reveal this much information, anyway.
Tagline: Someone is making their life story into a movie, and they haven’t been paid. So they’re on their way to Hollywood to get even.

Plot Outline: The comic ‘Bluntman and Chronic’ is based on real-life stoners Jay and Silent Bob, so when they get no profit from a big-screen adaptation they set out to wreck the movie.

  • In the latest Toyfare Magazine, Kevin appears in an ad for Wizard’s website. A second ad, featuring Paul Dini, is in the DC Comics released this week. Kevin’s quote says:
“Making movies, writing comics, running a comic store, and eating as much as I do takes a ton of time (and adds a ton of weight). I can’t always keep up with what’s hot and not in the comic biz. So I log onto WizardWorld.com to get the latest news, buy and sell stuff, and track those creators I feel are my competitors. Seeing the stock rise on another writer only makes me work harder, because I’m a catty, catty little person.”
  • We’re not sure if we caught this review of Green Arrow #1 from the X-Axis, one of the better comic review sites out there. Check that out HERE.
  • More Jason Lee in the news: The Houston Chronicle ran an interview with Jason Lee yesterday that focused primarily on “Almost Famous” but which also talked a bit about his roles in VA films. You can read that HERE.

Also, this Sunday’s Parade magazine (which appears in newspapers across the country) has an interview with Jason Lee in the back, done by James Brady. He talks about car racing and “Heartbreakers” and working with Smith (though doesn’t get to say much).

Finally, there’s a small piece at IGN over small production delays in “Vanilla Sky”.

  • Shannon Elizabeth will be a guest on The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday, March 27. We’re sure this is to promote “Tomcats” but she may give Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back a mention, too.
  • The DVD Sewer website has a blurb on the Dogma SE and credits us with the news on the June release date. Thanks, folks.
  • Dogma will be playing on the Canadian movie station Superchannel all this month (and possibly longer). It premiered last Sunday.
