- Kevin’s not the only one checking in at the board with a few words from the set…Jason Lee has also been popping by quite frequently to answer questions and talk about what he’s been up to. In this little clip, he reveals some interesting information about Chris Rock’s ad-libbing on the set (could it be?) and looks back on Banky and forward to Brodie (filming at the end of this month):
No more Banky, ladies and gentleman. Well, that is unless Kevin decides to use him again in the future, perhaps somewhere in Fletch….NOOTCH! It was a treat playing him again after all these years. Kevin is the man, isn’t he? It was amazing to see Kevin give C. Rock plenty of room for playing in the scene we shot today. I’ve never really seen that before. I’m so used to Kevin not allowing it. C. Rock definitely came through. Funny as hell. Just thought I’d share my day, my last day, as Banky Edwards…..one of my favorite characters!
NOW, time for some Brodie Bruce action!!!! Two days as Mr. Bruce, and then bye bye Banky and Brodie. Sad, huh? Oh well, there will be plenty more where that came from, right Kevin?
Sounds like Lee really wants work with Kevin more in the future, and we’re sure that’ll happen. Very cool.
