- That’s right, folks, we have just received confirmation from distributors that the Clerks Animated Series DVD and VHS will see release on FEBRUARY 20, 2001! The VHS will retail for $19.99, the DVD for $29.99. Distribution is being handled by Buena Vista Home Entertainment (translated: It’ll be next to impossible to get an advanced copy of the disc). Here’s a scan of the release, click it for a closer look. There’s no new artwork done for the DVD, though we assume Chris Bailey will have something to do with that, thus, the notice is pretty boring right now. It doesn’t even tout any of the coolspecial features being added. At any rate, it’s nice to have a date to mark on the calendar. Now, to work on that Dogma Special Edition DVD date…
