Now, it’s the audience’s turn to help their favorites move through the competition. Since Monday’s show, fans have been able to vote for a “save”. Of the 4 members of each celebrity team, one will be given the “audience save” which is determined by the top number of votes from the public. Another of the 4 will be saved by their mentor. The remaining 2 will go home. While we’re fairly certain that Christina would love to see Raquel continue on, and would save her as well, we’d love for the audience to choose her as the fave. So here’s how you can do it, all the way up until 10 AM this Monday morning, EST:

• Call 1-855-VOICE-01 TOLL-FREE up to 10 times which directly casts a vote for her.
• Vote up to 10 times at the NBC.com Web site.
• Download her performance from iTunes for $1.29 which gets you a copy of the song, and also counts as a vote towards Raquel.

You can vote up to 10 times per voting method (though we’re assuming you’re not going to download the song 10 times, you can, and have it count). Calls and web-based votes are simple and should only take you a few minutes. Here’s how the voting works: This week, all 4 members of Aguilera’s team performed — Of the four, only two of them will make it into the next round. One of them will be voted in by the people (that’s you). The other will be voted in by the judges. Her performance was fantastic tonight, so we’re thinking her chances of making the next round are fantastic.

You have all week to vote (until Monday) and can do it by downloading Raquel’s song on iTunes, calling in, or texting.

It’s a fascinating read, which not only includes links to all of the work, but some inside details and memories from the projects that we’d never heard before. Here’s a sample:

…Mr. Smith had seen this and asked if we could make a version for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez as a wrap party present for the film Jersey Girl. We wrote a proposal, which Kevin then took and added a bunch of gags and inside jokes and developed the script. We also sent ideas for a Dogma game and a game based off of the Clerks animated series. We had 8 weeks till the wrap of the film, where Kevin wanted to give the arcade machine to them.

We worked most of the hours of those 8 weeks. We were still programming the game when we drove it straight from Austin to New York City in a U-haul attached to Brad’s jeep. We took turns working, sleeping, and driving in shifts. We presented the arcade machine on the last night of shooting, with paparazzi everywhere ruining multiple takes of the final scene. We installed the machine in the couples’ apartment. That part is pretty hazy, I personally only remember that the refrigerator was 100% full of diet-caffeine-free cokes, and showing a bodyguard how to play Frogger on the machine.

If you didn’t already know, this series is tremendous. Clerks: The Animated Series tackles a lot of the same topics as in the movies but thanks to the additional freedom that animation grants, the series shines like a freaking diamond. The humor found here is not fully like in the movie, where vulgarity and cruelness plays a big part. In the series, the jokes are expanded into unique ideas that were absolutely made for television. Jokes, references, and pop culture hysteria are quickly rattled off one after another in a hilarious string of continuance. Not to mention the fantastic jabs they take against popular sitcom devices: fake sitcom introductions (“this show was drawn in front of a live studio audience”), narrative recap devices (“previously on Clerks – beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep”), infamous television staples (such as the clip show episode being only the second episode of the series) movie spoofs (Schindler’s List + Flintstones = Flintstone’s List), and other popular culture figures.
