Kevin Smith mentioned on Howard Stern

  • On today’s Howard Stern radio program, Robin brought up the fact that she saw “Chasing Amy” and loved it… Howard interrupted saying that Kevin had sent him a cassette of the movie and he watched it for 5 minutes, then threw it in the garbage. Some people are so spoiled! Anyway, Robin told him he needed to give it another chance, so he’s going to try and dig it out of the garbage can.

Anyway, Howard then proceeded to say he had to give “a shout out” to Kevin for sending him the original Superman script. Apparently, he liked it a lot. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE SEND ME THIS SCRIPT!!?!?! I won’t share it with anyone. Scout’s honor.

  • Well, http://www.viewaskew.com is back today…sorta. Maybe they just took the site down for a while so they could start getting rid of all traces of Joey…who knows? But anyway, looks like everything is intact EXCEPT for the WWWBoard, which is quite unfortunate. Hope to see it back soon and in one piece. We’ll keep you informed.

  • Matt Damon and Edward Norton appeared on ESPN‘s broadcast of “The World Series of Poker” Saturday night, where they played the game with the world’s best. The announcers said that Damon held his own against a past world champion. In addition to his writing and acting talents, we suppose you can add “poker player” to the repertoire.
