• Well, our script scooper turned out to be Jason Hambach. Thanks for your info, Jason! Jason also tells us that there’s a mention of bi-coastal theme parks in “Dogma”, called Mooby World. Most likely this will just end up being a tie-in to the 5th flick. Latest rumors point to Dogma’s shooting taking place in Memphis. More details on this site as they come up.

• Well, we usually don’t post stuff like this, but we saw this reply to some of our propaganda on the WWWBoard and just couldn’t resist sharing it with you:

• Well, we had kinda hoped to see a link to us from View Askew’s HomePage after reading Kev’s post (see below), but it looks like Ming has decided to just start his own news section instead. Check it out here. We’re not sure what this means for us or for our page, since it was brought up today without any acknowlegement or even a link to us. We’re going to keep going here, and hope that we can serve as a nice companion piece to the info you find on View Askew’s home site, although we can’t help but feel a little slighted, considering this stuff went up the day after Kev made his post. For now, we’re gonna give Ming and the gang the benefit of the doubt and assume we were still gonna get linked or at least credited somehow on their page, because, after all, viewaskew.com is trulyan outstanding webpage, and Ming’s really done a great job with it. Just don’t forget about us! And again, thanks for your continued support.

• Kevin’s chat on http://www.pseudo.com has had a slight time change from 7:00PM EST tonight to 8:00PM EST tonight. If you hate their java client as much as I do, just point your IRC program to irc.psuedo.com, port 6667 to join in the fun! The system for asking questions still seems fuzzy, it may only be a call in. At least stop by to hear the chat though. See ya there!

• Last night, we loaded up the fridge and sat down with the “Clerks” Laserdisc to play the drinking game. Here’s what we found out in this session:

• The first drinks of the game come from the “Lenin’s Tomb” rule. In fact, this turns out tobe one of the most brutal rules in the entire game! That darn cat is around more than you’dimagine!
• Looks like you’ll finish around 6 or 7 drinks during the course of the film, which has arunning time of 92 minutes. This is definitely enough to give the average person a pretty good ride.
• We’re going to need to add a rule that has to do with the mention of shoe polish.
• The “37” scene is killer! In fact, there’s quite a few lulls in the film which allow you to catch your breath, but when you least expect it…BAM!

• Looks like “Chasing Amy” will definitely be out on both Laserdisc (In a special Criterion edition) and videocassette sometime in December. This is a bit longer than the normal six month theatre-to-video window, but not out of the ordinary for Miramax. We’re keeping an eye on the video trades, and will have a definite release date for you as soon as we can.

Rumor has it that Criterion sometimes messes with the running commentary on their laserdiscs by recording each member on a seperate track and then switching from person to person rather than letting them all talk at once, as on the Clerks disc. Hopefully they’ll stick with the old way. It’s a lot more fun. Let us know if you have any details on the Criterion disc.
