Commentary…

Just a few quick Non-Askew, but still interesting notes for your weekend enjoyment…First of all, this weekend, MTV is having a “Weird Ass Cartoons Weekend”, where they’re gonna show all those classic toons and shorts that Jay talked about in the infamous “puppet” short. In fact, the short may have even inspired the weekend. We’ll be tuning in. We love that stuff. Hey, it’s not videos (Remember when MTV actually SHOWED videos, and not just rap ones?) but it beats Madonna weekend anyway.
Finally, South Park fans, we’ve got some big news for you! How’d you like to OWN the first 6 episodes of South Park on video? Perfect HiFi copies, and commercial free? It’s been announced that they’ll be released on May 5th, 3 tapes, 2 episodes each. Retail will be $14.95 a piece, which means that you’ll find them much cheaper than that. Unfortunately, they’re not restoring any of the “bleeps” so we STILL won’t get to hear what Kyle says to those Aliens when they won’t give him his little brother back…If only a uncensored copy of that episode existed! Anyway, look for the tapes in early May. More episodes will likely follow.
