- Well, the press is DESPERATE to get any info on Dogma they can, since it’s a closed set (though we’re still hoping for our chance to visit it sometime soon), stories are running. This one comes from AP, and it publicly announces the working title of Dogma. We knew this for a bit now, but were keeping it under our hats to try and retain the secrecy. Why did we even bother? Here’s the story…
FRANKLIN PARK, Pa. (AP) – Fresh from their Oscar win, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck begin shooting a movie about angels on April 1.
The “Good Will Hunting” screenwriting partners play grounded angels trying to get back to heaven in “Bearclaw,” directed by Kevin Smith.
The movie will be shot partly in this Pittsburgh suburb.
So, just to keep you all from being confused, yes, the film will still be called “Dogma” at release, it’s just working under the title “Bearclaw” to try and keep the shoot as low profile as possible.
