  • VERY early this morning, we celebrated big hit #300,000. Not bad for just over a year of being on the scene. Our 300,000th hitter, Afroed Whitey, said it pretty well, so we’ll give him the floor here:
      I proudly declare that at 3:48 AM EST I, Rusty Sheridan, A.K.A. Afroed Whitey, became the intstigator of the 300,000th hit to Newsaskew.com. I hereby inaugurate a new era of Askewness; may the next 300,000 be as fantastic and View Askew plentiful as this one past. Whoo!

  • Kevin was on “Split Screen” (on The Independant Film Channel), a show that looks at independant filmmaking yesterday. He was the co-host in the segments filmed at the Quick Stop (in b/w and color) and was also in a skit during the credits of the dancing scene in Clerks. They showed numerous clips from Clerks and Chasing Amy. For more info, visit their site HERE .
  • The results are in from the big online battle or Jay & Bob vs. Wayne & Garth over at Comic Battles, and the winner IS…Well, check it out HERE.
  • A small correction from Joe on the Jay & Bob figures: “The only figures that will be numbered are the semi-politically version that are being released at San Diego Con and Expo. This run will include 1,000 Jays and 1,000 Bobs.”
