- In the latest Adam Warren (Dirty Pair, Bubble Gum Crisis) Gen13 Comic, “Magical Drama Queen Roxy” mentions allthree movies (Chasing Amy, Clerks, and Mallrats). One of the characters in the comic book even says “I prefer’Mallrats’ personally”, “No really!, I feel that it is a terribly underrated little gem of a film!”, “‘Mallrats” has acertain ineffable verve and insouciance, a certain Je Ne Sais Quio, that makes the true, if tragicallyoverlooked, Crown Jewel in Kevin Smith’s cinematic oeuvre. Indeed, I’d say…”. At that point he gets blasted by the”Bad Person”. Funny stuff, there!

- As we’ve mentioned lately, another Askew figure from the past, Claire Forlani is getting some notice due to herrole in the upcoming “Meet Joe Black”. Maxim Magazine (which we’ve recently come to enjoy reading) mentions her in anarticle about breakout actresses for 1999:
