Gene Siskel: 1946-1999

  • Film critic Gene Siskel died yesterday, from complications that arose from removal of a brain tumor last May. Siskel was best known for his collaboration with fellow critic Roger Ebert, with their syndicated program “At The Movies” airing weekly with all of the latest reviews. He will be missed. The Chicago Tribune ran a very nice article on the man that you can read HERE.

    Both Siskel and Ebert reviewed all 3 of Kevin’s films…Praising both Clerks and Amy and (surprise surprise) panning Mallrats:
