Alan Rickman, who does an outstanding job with some deadpan humor as Metatron in “Dogma”, turns 53 today.

April WAS a clear month up there in the countdowns area…But not any more! “Silent Bob Speaks: A Night with Kevin Smith” is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, April 8, 1999 at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. It’s free to all college students and invited guests (possible reception to follow — special invites only), at least, that’s what we know right now. No details on how the general public can get tix, or if they even can, but watch here for details.
Chasing Amy begins it’s first British TV run on March 31st on Sky Box Office 1 (at 3 quid a show). The flicks airs at midnight, 2am and 4 am for a week, then probably more….In their write-up, they called Alyssa “Amy”: “This intelligent comedy with razor-sharp dialogue sees Holden (Ben Affleck) grappling with unrequited love in the form of Amy (Joey Lauren Adams).” Close enough, we suppose.
