- Ken Crane’s just made a HUGE step backward in customer service and loyalty in our book and, frankly, we’re VERY disappointed. Folks who took advantage of their $20.99 price on the Clerks DVD, including us, received the following letter in the mail yesterday:
“The title listed below (which was the “Clerks” DVD) has had a change in its suggested retail price. The new retail price is now $39.98 with a Ken Crane’s selling price of $27.99. If you still want this title please call to reorder. If you no longer want this title, please disregard this notification.”
How about THAT garbage? All we can say is that Reel.Com does NOT pull crap like that — If you got in with your order before the price change, they’re honoring that. Also, they STILL have a cheaper price than Ken Crane’s on the DVD, even AFTER the price increase ($23.99). At $17.99, their price was an even bigger bargain, and that price will still be honored on orders placed before the price hike (as far as we know). So, we urge ALL of you to take your business from Ken Crane’s over to
Reel.Com where customer service still apparently matters. No, we don’t get kickbacks for saying this (we wish), but it’s a pretty logical choice, and one we recommend.
