• Well, by now we’ve amused, infuriated, or confused just about all of you…At least those of ya that visited News Askew on April 1st…APRIL FOOL’S DAY! Yep, we got ya. Well, some of ya. Ah, if you could only have seen the mailboxes here today. Over 300 letters of thanks, complaint, concern…It was certainly NOT a quiet day around here by any stretch!

Anyway, for those of you that missed it, in good fun, we decided to change the entire front page look of this site to a P.T. Anderson fan site, with a full update. You can see what it looked like by clicking HERE. In the process, we managed to get a HUGE reaction, a lot more than we expected. We’ve compiled some of the best and most interesting responses for ya on a subpage, just in case you’d like to check out what your fellow View Askew peers thought of our little joke. As you can see, there was quite a range of responses.

At any rate rest assured that we wrote to ask everyone who was angry to come back tomorrow, just to make sure that we didn’t lose any regular readers, so the damage should be minimal. In the end, we had a great time setting up the joke, and we hope that you all have the sense of humor to have enjoyed it, at least now, even if we had ya going good yesterday.
