  • Big News! The website for the Mega Conventionn in Orlando says that Kevin & Jay are scheduled to appear. The event takes place from March 2nd to the 4th. We were unable to access the website or find it, so we can’t confirm this information. Once we can, we’ll let you know.
  • Look for Brian O’Halloran in a new indie short film called “A Mother’s Love”. The flick co-stars Meryl Harris and was directed by Steve O’Connell. You can find out more at their official website.
  • A few more tidbits on Bloomsburg: The auditorium seats 1800, so getting in should not be a problem for ya. The number we got the other day was correct but not the number to call to order tickets. We’ll have that for ya as soon as possible.
  • Here’s a couple of tidbits from that Total Movie DVD magaine we mentioned a while back. It’s on newsstands now:
“Clerks; Mullethead: Entire state of New Jersey. The Garden State is notorious for mulletheads. The difference is, when they do it back east, its actually considered macho. Laugh at a guy with a mullet in New Jersey and he’ll kick your ass. West Coast mullets ate rightly considered wimps by comparison – they do it merely to look pretty and would no doubt be reduced to a quivering wreck if an argument in a bar turned ugly (maybe that’s why this species is close to extinction). The message is clear – don’t mess with jersey mulletheads. They’re so hard-core, some of them actually have even got tattoos dedicated to their ‘dos. Really its true.”

“After a spell writing Daredevil comics and a draft of the Superman Lives screenplay, Kevin Smith is now taking a crack at another of his childhood faves; he’s been signed by Miramax to write and direct a new Fletch movie. Yes, you read that right. Fletch Won will be a prequel to the two earlier films, with a younger actor (possibly Smith-ites Ben Affleck or Jason Lee) reprising the role made famous by Chevy Chase, with Chase himself being offered a cameo. Smith has one more, as-yet-unnamed project to direct first so don’t expect anything until at least 2001. But this we gotta see.”

  • A college radio show (The Cliff And Owen Show) is starting RIGHT NOW (sorry for the late notice) online here where they’re going to debate over who should be the new Fletch in Kev’s Fletch Won. If you’re interested, tune on in.
