- Small View Askew tidbit for ya: Vincent Guastini, who did Dogma’s effects, is heading out to Cali to do some effects for Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back! So that’s official confirmation that he’ll be doing effects work on this one as well. Just what might he be working on exactly? Well, we already know ONE thing, but we’re not sure if we’re able to reveal it just yet. Feel free to speculate until then.
- Just in case you didn’t catch that small post from Kevin on the board yesterday, here it is. For the unititiated, ever since Kevin’s public expression of dislike for “Magnolia”, folks have thought that he and directed Paul Thomas Anderson were feuding:
So I’m sitting in the office, filling out my paperwork, when a guy comes out, just having had his examination for his picture. And this guy says…
“Kevin. Hi. Paul Thomas Anderson.”
I say “Hey, man! How are you?” and ask him why he’s there (duh). He responds that he’s there for the requisite check-up for his flick, we smile at one another for a beat, and then he’s off.
See? No feud at all.”
