- A new cut of the Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back commercial has started to appear on a couple networks. Look for it to kick into higher gear after Dimension stops their big push for the Nicole Kidman flick “The Othersâ€. As we’d hoped, this new ad goes into more detail on the film’s plot, and does feature some Mark Hamill lightsaber action. Good stuff. We’ll have a copy for you to check out online ASAP.
- The Chasing Amy Region 4 (Australia) DVD is due on August 20 from Shock Records. Special features to be announced. It was originally due on August 8, but has been delayed.
- Local comic book shop The Zone in Louisville, Kentucky is giving away free prescreening passes to “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Backâ€. The screening takes place on August 20th.
- “Starz Movies News†will be running a profile of Kevin Smith for one week starting Friday the 24th. The piece is expected to run about 6 minutes in length. As we did the last time, we’ll have it online for ya over at Scooping shortly after it airs.
