- It seems like there’s a lot of posts from folks begging for a second day of Vulgarthon, giving those that didn’t get tix for the Monday show a chance to catch the same program on Tuesday. Kevin’s still working on setting this up, and nothing is definite yet. He does have an update on what’s happened so far, here’s what’s up:
Oh boy…
Still trying to figure out if we can secure the theater. Might not be a big deal, but who knows?
If we were to do this second day, tickets would go on sale next Saturday, same time (noon, east coast).
We’ll try to figure out how to give folks without tickets preference, but I doubt double-dipping is going to be much of a problem, as most folks won’t want to shell out to sit through the same program twice, two days in a row.
So rest easy, folks. If there IS going to be a Day 2, you have a week to prepare for it. I don’t think it’s going to be as hard to get tickets for Day 2 (i.e. – we won’t be selling out in two hours and fifteen minutes again).
The other thing to think about is providing something to do post-show on Monday, as many more folks are going to be in town. We’ll be working on that as well.
Would anyone be into some kinda live music shindig?
Keep in mind, this would all be going down at about midnight or one in the morning.
We’ll let you know as soon as something’s been decided. As always, feel free to show support for the second event and express your thoughts on an evening concert, etc. at the View Askew WWWBoard. Like Kevin says, the show would be LATE at night, as the thon runs usually around 12 hours, so a lot of you might just be ready to head back to your hotels (or home) and pass out. It’s your call!
