Commentary…

November 27th @ 5:52 pm | No Comments » | Scooped by Brad & Chris

  • Hey folks, just wanted to pop in and say hello. Thanks for stopping by the site today. As you might have noticed, it’s been slightly slow-paced lately. Usually, we’d use this time to clean up or add some new stuff to the site. However, with the busy holiday season upon us, and the site running fairly smoothly, there’s not too much to do these days. In the coming weeks, though, we’re going to be adding some Vulgarthon specific features, including a new area in our Forums, and hopefully some other surprises as well. In the meantime, we’ll keep up with everything that’s going on, rest assured that there’s a lot on the horizon, even with it slightly quiet around here. Stay tuned, lots of coolness to come. Here’s what we’ve got for ya today:

Kevin’s Syracuse Appearance: Details!

November 27th @ 5:51 pm | No Comments » | Scooped by Matt Singer

  • The president of Syracure’s University Union has gotten in touch with us regarding all the official information on Kevin’s upcoming Q&A appearance. Most of you are going to want to know one major thing, so we’ll get right to it – Sadly, the appearance is ONLY open to Syracuse students. The show starts at 7:30, tickets are $3, available in the Schine Student Center Box Office. If you know a student, maybe you can bribe them to buy you tickets (or maybe just show up on campus and look sad and ask strangers to hook you up).

The following Friday after Kevin’s visit, as part of a whole View Askew week of programming, the school will be bringing Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back to the big screen there, with a showing open to the public, along with 6 Clerks cartoon episodes (also on the big screen) after that at midnight. Here’s that schedule:

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Friday and Saturday November 30th and December 1st
7:00 and 9:30 PM
$3

Clerks Cartoon Episodes
Friday and Saturday
Midnight
FREE!

All events take place at Gifford Auditorium, Syracuse University. For directions or more information, email university_union@yahoo.com”.
