- Our sources are indicating that the Stan Lee DVD from Columbia is right on schedule — So, Amazon’s cancellation must have been a mistake. Get those orders in for that DVD now, it’ll be a good one we’re sure. In other Stan Lee news, he’s making a RARE signing appearance at Universal Citywalk on May the 11th, to celebrate the opening of the Spidey flick. There’s a flyer above for that one, click to enlarge. Finally, he’s also going to be guest starring on everyone’s favorite show, the Simpsons, as…himself. It will air on April 28th, a double feature with a rerun at 7. This episode description comes from the Simpsons Archive:
8:00 • I Am Furious (Yellow) (DABF13)
Stan Lee guest voices as himself as Bart creates an Internet comic strip starring Homer.

- Sorry to bring some bad news to ya, but we’ve got an update on the Cincinnati appearance — Inquiries for the show have been so massive, that they’re nearly positive that students will sell it out. If you really want to wait in the standby line, feel free, but their box office tells us that the response has been incredible, even with requests coming in from around the country. If you’re attending, be sure to shoot us a report!
- For those of you non-AOL’ers that couldn’t attend, we’ve got the chat transcript from Affleck’s latest online visit, this time to support “Changing Lanesâ€. Read the Q&A right here. Speaking of Affleck, he’s got a DVD box set coming out from Buena Vista on July 2nd, with 2 instant classics – “Reindeer Games†and, yes, “Phantomsâ€. One low price for both! Thanks to DVD Angle for the news.
- Joey Lauren Adams is getting quite a bit of praise for her new movie, Harvard Man. A review of the movie in the San Francisco Chronicle stated,
“Yet the performer most worth noting is Adams, who would be an unlikely choice to play a philosophy professor, except that she seems to understand every word she says. Adams sparkles with quick-mindedness and verbal agility. This is a worthy and underused talent.â€

- A Files Askew addition – 8 new user-made head-skins for the game “The Sims†have been posted, representing various View Askew film characters. It was made on a MAC, but they should work on PCs as well. Thanks, Mark.
