• Yes, it’s time for SPRING CLEANING here at News Askew. What’s that mean? Welp, it means we’re not only working on getting some stuff in order, but we’re ALSO going to be adding a bunch of new features to the site in the coming weeks.

To start off, we’ve cleaning up the “On This Day…” feature you see at the top of the site. We’ve gone through and fixed a bunch of typos, added new historial info, and corrected some general mistakes. However, realizing it’s tough to date-check every item, if you ever see a problem up there with a date or especially a YEAR, please, do let us know.

Also, we’re going back and cleaning up the News Archives. In going back through for a recent project, we noticed some run-on words, broken links, missing images, and the like. We’ll be taking some time to clean all of that up in the coming weeks. Look for a gradual change there.

Also, and most exciting of all: NEW FEATURES. We’re about to unveil of favorite of these with the next post (which you ‘ll see just below). We think you’re really gonna dig it.

Thanks to a new server with a bunch more memory and speed, you should find News Askew faster than ever before. There’s no better time to try signing up and posting a talkback for a news item, visiting our forum community, or poking around at past updates and features. There’s a TON of stuff covering almost 8 years of View Askew right here at News Askew.
