- The rock band “Supernovaâ€, famous for contributing the song “Chewbacca†from Clerks, continues their lawsuit against the forthcoming band, also trying to use that same name, currently running that summer “Rock Star†reality show. Billboard has details. So does CNN.
- Henry Rollins mentions Kevin in the Dispatches section of website http://www.henryrollins.com. Here’s an excerpt from the July 5th, 2006 entry:
“…I interviewed Kevin Smith of Clerks fame. Good guy, good interview. I watched Clerks II on Monday and thought it was pretty cool. I really like Jason Mewes. I was in a film with him a couple of years ago and hung out with him some, hes got a lot of energy that boy. I think he stole Clerks II and Rosario Dawson was really great as well.â€
