- Dark Horizons reports today that the latest director on the lips of those inside the Daredevil feature film project is Stephen Norrington (“Blade”), but also surprisingly says that Marvel is considering bringing Kevin in to sit in the chair as well. Hmmm. We’re not sure if Kev would want to take it on, but we’d be there. Still, if they can at least get the guy to write the film, and it’s even HALF as good as the Marvel Knights series, we smell money:
“Many sources are now reporting that Marvel Entertainment is in talks with Blade director Steve Norrington to direct DAREDEVIL and the talks have been positive so far. Marvel Entertainment is also considering apparently none other than “Dogma” director Kevin Smith to helm it. Smith has had a very positive history with Marvel Comics AND The Horned One (Daredevil), he just finnished up a 6( or is it 7) issue run on the newly renewed Daredevil series and fans ate his work up and demanded for more. Marvel has been considering both Smith and Norrington for some time now and apparently only time (and talent) will tell who the director will be.”
