• We’re sorry to have this news so late, but we’ve gotten no official word on this delay, and hadn’t heard ANY news on the book until just now. However, a source tells us that, it was revealed that the script wasn’t in on the book as of July 28th. Kevin’s gotta be busy as hell with everything going on with Dogma, and it’s gotta be tough to get these scripts out on time. So, be patient, if you’re like us, you’d much rather have a quality book with a cool, well-thought, non-rushed script in your hands. Our source also claims that we can expect the book to be out no sooner than October given this delay, though as we all know very well by now, these release dates can move up and down in a heartbeat. The fact that “Lost Scene” wasn’t listed on comic shop shipment lists for next week definitely backs up the delay theories, so we’re believing it.

So, what about Jay & Silent Bob #4? We KNOW they want the book out before Dogma, but given til November for release now, we assume that the book’s now gonna be pushed back at least until sometime in September. The trade paperback, which will combine all 4 books, is still on for October, last we’d heard.

The good news? We can still expect DareDevil #8 next week.

In the meantime, if Oni can supply us with any sketches or panels from the books, we’ll certainly post them to whet your appetite while ya wait. Time’s been flying by, though, so it won’t seem like too much of a wait. We won’t be posting release dates on the countdowns until we hear anything official, though.
