- Chris Rock’s new comedy special, “Bigger and Blacker”, is set to premiere on HBO Saturday, July 10th. His last, “Bring The Pain”, was hilarious, so this should be a good time and a chance to see this guy in action before you witness his turn in “Dogma” this fall.
- AICN’s got a review of Drawing Flies, a never-released indie flick with Jason Mewes and Jason Lee (among other View Askew vets). The flick’s not available on video, and there’s still no plans to release it…It did show at Vulgarthon ’98 though.
- We thought that View Askew fans might be interested to know that John Pierson will be giving a presentation/talk/screening about Split Screen and Indie film in general at the Bethesda Theatre Cafe in Bethesda, MD this Wednesday at 7:00 PM. The event is free, but you have to get tickets, and the theatre will be overbooked to ensure a full house, so anyone who goes need to be there early. More info’s available HERE or at IFC’s websiteHERE.
- A scooper asked us for a little mention of his Dogma discussion club over at Yahoo, and we were happy to oblige: So, if you wanna get involved and talk with fellow fans about the flick, stop HERE.

- Finally today, our DareDevil coverage will most likely go on hold when Kevin’s writing gig stops after issue 8 (to return of course, when he does), but we still thought you may want a glimpse at the proposed issue #11 cover from previews.
