- We hear that Ben Affleck had a stunt go wrong and got a minor concussion while filming “Reindeer Games” recently. After a short visit to the hospital, he’s fine. We wish him well and a safe, smooth shoot from here on in.
- Kevin, Joe, and Jimmy’s “Guardian Devil” story from Daredevil #1-2 placed second in the Favorite Story category in the 1998 CBG Fan Awards. Theawards were announced in the April 23 issue of the Comics Buyers Guide. Kevin made appearances in several other categories, including FavoriteWriter and Favorite Limited Series (“Jay & Silent Bob”). Congrats to all involved! The awards are, needless to say, well deserved.
- The always entertaining Maxim magazine mentioned clerks in their “Hell Yes!, Hell No!” feature(under the YES! column, of course):
“Cartoon Clerks: An animated version of the 7-Eleven-slacker flick iscoming to ABC. Only hitch: drawing the pork rinds just right.”
