Seems that lately, we’re discovering TONS of reporters are not only using this page as their news source to write all their Dogma and Kevin Smith related articles, but they’re doing so without giving us ANY credit whatsoever, sometimes due to just pure selfishness, and other times because we’re considered VIEW ASKEW and thus an official source, not the indepdendent fan site that we ACTUALLY are.

Just to set the record straight…News Askew AND Dogma Rumor Control are websites owned and operated by Brad Plevyak and Chris Alley. The disclaimer and the bottom of the page states such. We are in no way owned, operated, or paid by View Askew or Miramax. We’re just fans, we do this for fun, and thus have no official endorsement, support, or guarantee of correctness of information from any of the agencies that we report on. Everything that we do is done without any contact from Kevin Smith or View Askew, and no one to answer to but ourselves, and we plan to keep it that way.

Sorry to sound so blunt, but dammit, we’re sick of it. The whole idea of this site was to give a different source and take on things than the official View Askew website does. We love their site as much as we love our own, but do NOT want to be thought of as part of it, and should not be simply because there’s a link to us over there.
