The Digital Bits posted the Clerks DVD artwork…Not much of a surprise, but we didn’t expect anything different! Here’s a look. By the way, Ken Crane‘s site is now reporting that all the extras from the laserdisc will indeed be included on the DVD. No confirmation from Buena Vista at this point.

The buzz around Kevin Smith’s “Dogma” (DOGMA) is growing to epic proportions! Stories continue to move through Hollywood about Harvey Weinstein’s decision to buy back the rights to the religious comedy from Miramax’s parent company, Disney. By doing so, Weinstein can now shop the picture around to other distributors and protect Disney from what would have been almost certain controversy. It remains to be seen if “Dogma” can find a place in the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, much less a domestic distributor. Stay tuned!

An astute scoopers spots Carmen Lee listed as a small role in Drew Barrymore’s new chick-looking flick, “Never Been Kissed”. It’s nice to see Carmen got a followup gig…Although we’d sure hire her after that smooch with Joey in Chasing Amy.
