Mostly bad news on the View Askew DVD front today…At least, for now. Most venues are listing the Mallrats Special Edition a week later than Universal had originally reported, 7/20, so we’ve changed our release countdown above to reflect that date rather than the 13th. As for Clerks, seems the retail price IS 10 bucks lower than what we’d heard, $29.99, putting the web outlets at a $20.99 ordering price…Great news, right? Okay, here’s the bad. Seems that LaserViews did a writeup on the disc today, and it didn’t feature ANY of the commentary, deleted scenes, video…NUTHIN! Let’s hope this was just an oversight. If anyone from Disney, Buena Vista, or View Askew can confirm or deny, please contact us.
