The problem with that is the only existing copy of the original cut of MALLRATS has a temp-music soundtrack, and we’d have to get the rights to use all of the songs we put in that temp mix if we were to present this entire version of the film on the DVD. Belive me though, ALL the meaningful cut material will be included, NOT JUST the 30-mintues that are frequently talked about but some really interesting other stuff as well, and it will be presented in a very interesting, enlightening fassion (that is, it won’t just be the extra scenes after the film- this will be BY FAR the best and most elaborate of the View Askew special editions) fassion, AND there apparently WILL be a laserdisc release of this special-edition as well as the DVD.
