- Tail Lights Fade‘s official press release hit the books today, with some general information on the film…With a nice cast on board, including supe-hot Richards (who’ll gain even more exposure when the next Bond flick hits this winter), the flick should do fairly well (though as much as we wanted to like Dairy Queens, that trailer hurts):
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–Voyageur Film Capital Corp. and Cadence Entertainment Inc. (its wholly-owned subsidiary – July 8th/99 acquisition completion) is pleased to announce that TRIMARK PICTURES, Inc. has acquired all U.S. distribution rights for the feature film “Taillights Fade”.
“Taillights Fade” is a fast-paced journey of self discovery for five twentysomethings. The two couples endure the road and each other in their pristine convertibles, unaware of the troubles awaiting them in the West. “Taillights Fade” is the tale love and betrayal, redemption and temptation. Set against the backdrop of the road, two couples race against time to save another’s life from imprisonment. Starring Jake Busey (Starship Trooper), Tanya Allen (Regeneration), Breckin Meyer (Clueless), Elizabeth Berkeley (Showgirls) and Denise Richards, (Wild Things, The World is Not Enough, as the next Bond Girl).
Guy Stodel, Director of Acquisitions for Trimark Pictures, said of the film, “The film transforms the tired road movie formula into a fresh and vibrant tale of love, betrayal and youth.
