  • Quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s hot properties in his own right, the infamous Brian Lynch has inked yet ANOTHER deal! This time, with the Artisan…That’s right, it looks like these guys are wasting no time re-investing their Blair Witch dollars and getting some new projects underway! This one’s not only for a script, but also a directing deal on what looks to be Lynch’s next flick, “Everybody’s Dead”. We’ve seen Brian mention it before, and frankly, we forget if it was a sequel, prequel, or sister film to “Big Helium Dog”, but the plot sounds great to us. No word on what this means for a BHD release, but it can only help. In the meantime, here’s the press release, courtesy of Variety as well as all the other sites that ran the story today:
HOLLYWOOD (Variety) – Artisan Entertainment has snatched up the Brian Lynch-written comedy “Everybody’s Dead.”

“Dead” focuses on a wild frat party that takes a darkly comic turn when the coeds are set upon by zombies.

“This movie is funny; it’s a big gross-out comedy, and it’s been too damn long since we have had a zombie movie,” said Artisan president of production Jon Shestak.

The film will be directed by Lynch, who recently helmed the micro-budget comedy “Big Helium Dog” for Kevin Smith’s View Askew Prods.

We’ll certainly keep you on top of this exciting news for another View Askew vet done proud. Congrats on yet another one, Brian! And we can still fondly recall the days of him telling us where to lay on the road or do face-plants in the grass, playing dead…aaaahhh…
