- Here’s a really weird-sounding scoop/rumor that originated on CNN Asia Entertainment News. Whether there’s some truth to this, or it’s just a monumental mix-up, we’re not sure, but here it is for your information, anyway. It seems a bit outlandish and we’ve yet to hear a peep out of this from any other camp, so it’s either a real inside scoop or a big mistake:
There’s a rumor going around that Kevin Smith is co-writing a Bank robbery gone wrong script with Vince Gallo that will surprise everyone, it won’t be a standard cops and robbers stand off, the whole thing is very hush hush and they aren’t even letting actors, Christina Ricci is one, who may be up for the part read the script, just pieces. Also it will be a big departure for KS in so far as it won’t be a comedy. Of course it’ll be a an NJ piece.
Sounds a bit thin to us, we have no idea why Smith would suddenly work with Gallo and the Ricci involvement makes it seem even more like a fan concotion, but still. There it is.
