- Academy Award winner Ben Affleck will make his third presenter appearance on this year’s Oscar® telecast, producer Gil Cates has announced. The Oscars will be presented on March 25, 2001, at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium. Sunday at the Oscars® will be televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. (PST), with a half-hour arrivals segment preceding the presentation ceremony. - Ali Larter was selected as Babe of the Day over at the Mr. Skin.com website. This is an adult site, so surf over at your own risk, kids.
- Jon Favreau (of Swingers fame and soon to be Made – July 13, 2001 release) mentions on his official site that he shot a talk show for IFC called “Dinner for Five†earlier this week. His guests were Jeanne Triplehorn, JOEY LAUREN ADAMS, Kevin James, and Peter Berg. Look for it, uncut and uncensored, in August 2001 on the Independant Film Channel.
- George Carlin is going to appear on Letterman this Monday. The appearance is likely to announce his new laugh.com site, but ya never know, he may mention Jay and Silent Bob.
