  • The New Jersey State Film Festival happens this weekend, and naturally, they’re showing three of Kevin’s films (Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy), the NYC short, and Scott Kramer’s tribute short “Chasing Kevin”. Check their website for details on shows and showtimes.
  • Speaking of “Chasing Kevin”, all four of the “Employees” scenes (from within that film) are now online at the Too Many Nicknames website toomanynicknames.com.
  • Dark Horizons has confimred the rumor we’d heard about Jay & Silent Bob’s Australian release – The date has been slightly moved up to January 31, 2002!
  • Rexmag.com did a recap of Kevin Smith’s talk from the other night at Kent State University. The direct article can be found HERE.
  • The Vic Theater in Chicago is doing a brew and view of Jay and Silent Bob Strick Back and Chasing Amy through Thursday. Show times are 9:00 for J&SBSB and 10:00 for Chasing Amy (On Wed. only J&SBSB is showing at 8:00). The website can be found HERE.
  • More screening opportunities: UK cinema chain Odeon will show Chasing Amy on the big screen on Wednesday, November 21st at three locations around the country – The screening details are as follows:
Birmingham (showing at 12:45, 15:10, 18:10, 20:30)
Epsom (showing at 12:25, 14:35, 16:45, 19:00, 21:15)
Liverpool London Road (12:15, 15:00, 17:45, 20:30)
  • Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back will be showing as part of the “Birmingham Film Festival” in England. You can catch it at the “Screen Extreme” part of the festival, a week before the official release date, on November 23rd and 8:00 PM. Tickets are £4.50 (£3.50 concs).
