  • A fun, well-illustrated new interview with Kevin appears, courtesy of Ryan Scott Ottney of Underground Media Comics and Outcast Studios. You can surf over and give it a read HERE.

  • Here’s those scans of a new interview with Kevin that appeared in the UK edition of FHM magazine. We mentioned this back on the 25th, and promised to have some scans online ASAP. Here ya go! Click the thumbnails above to check out the pics and read the story. Don’t miss it, it’s a good little interview and a nice shot of Kevin & Jen.
  • Jay and silent bob made the list of top 25 buddy teams in movie history according to Suncoast Pictures’ “Request” magazine. They ranked number 21 (BQ is “Buddy Quotient”, by the way):
21. Jason Mewes & Kevin Smith
One’s a territorial suburban drug dealer with no ambition and a bad case of potty mouth. One’s a quiet philosopher content to let the work just roll on by until he’s got something to say. Together, they figure sh- out. AS SEEN IN: Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Scream 3, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back BQ:71
  • Dogma is showing at the Des Moines Art Center at 1:00 PM this Sunday, December 2. Free for everyone!
  • With Jay & Bob opening up in the UK this weekend, folks overseas are very excited. One guy even shut down his website and changed it to the logo of the film. As for the release of the film itself, publicity has been slow, though one mini poster seen around streets tells viewers “not to rub the C.L.I.T the wrong way”, pretty risqué for a public ad! Mostly, though, television exposure for the flick has been low, and we hear that some ads are incorrectly stating that the flick isn’t playing at theaters. Be sure and check on the web or call your multiplex, the film is likely nearby. Don’t miss it! Response to the film itself, so far, has been very positive from those who have seen it.
