Alternative Press Magazine’s March 98 issue had an article featuring something a little different than you’re used to seeing: Kevin talking about music. Click the thumbnails below for enlarged versions of the article because, hey, we were just too damn lazy to transcribe it.

Ever wonder what it’s like to attend a FlixTour event? Our scooper, Lee, has put together an excellent montage of photos from the Point State Park showing of “A Better Place”. The photos cover from Vincent’s arrival up to right before the start of the film. Check it out right HERE!Special thanks to Sandrene, Jeff Wakmmen, Tom Mcvy, Nancy Oeswein at Auburn Moon, the people at the Point state Park college, and of course, Vincent. Lee wanted us to add (for those who attended the event’s benefit and understanding only), “There was speculation that two people would show up for the show, but no Kevin Costner and M-Dog did not show.”

Attention, Ohio residents! You heard it here first. Here’s your chance to meet Kevin and ask him all those important questions you’ve been holding onto. Here’s the details, direct from the source:
‘Clerks’ director coming in June
Independent filmmaker Kevin Smith-the director of Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy-will speak at the Ohio Union at 7:30 p.m. June 2.
He’ll give a brief lecture on indie filmmaking, then take audience questions for more than two hours. Don’t worry, he’ll have plenty to talk about: Besides his directing/acting stints, he’s been bumped as screenwriter for the new Superman movie, is shooting a new film (Dogma) in Pittsburgh, andis the guy who got Miramax to take a peek at a little script called Good Will Hunting”.
Tickets are $10 (students $5). They go on sale through Ticketmaster on April 10.
