• We’re happy to report that today is this here website’s first birthday! Yep, that’s right News Askew turns 1 day. Looking back in the May 1997 Archives, you’ll notice that April 30, 1997 was the first recorded update (which announced the site’s appearance, when it was known as the more cryptic “Drinks Askew”. It’s quite an honor for us to have the website up, running, and stronger than ever 1 year later. Thanks to all of you for making that possible. We hope to keep the site around for many years to come.

As you long-termers have noticed, the site’s always evolving for the better, but at the same time a fairly time-consuming effort with our full time jobs in addition to it all. Rest assured that we’re doing our best to get the latest news online ASAP. And we’ve got some new features planned as time goes on.
