• Wow, when we post a story here, you folks REALLY react! Steve Segal wrote us asking if we’d remove the request for fan interviews for his newspaper article, because well, he’s gotten too damn many!!! Steve wants to say thanks to everyone who took the time to write in, and that many of you will be quoted in the story. Good job, folks! We’ll let you know when the piece runs.

• Kevin‘s back with yet another ‘Dogma’ update…Sounds like some spiffy sets are getting built:

By the way, the ‘Superman Lives’ stuff is being confirmed by other sources, as well, not only for the budget but, ironically enough, for SCRIPT problems!!! Take THAT, Timmy! There’s no diappointment on this end if the flick never gets made, as far as we’re concerned. To think, we’d be anticipating a summer release of flick if they’d had just let Kevin write the script he wanted and stuck to it…

• Well folks, here’s the announcement we’ve been waiting to make…At long last, we’ll be making the trek to Pittsburgh this Tuesday for a little extra work and to check out the goings-on at the Dogma set. Rumor has it that confidentiality agreements are being signed, and picture taking is out of the question, so we’ll do our best to bring back an informative and entertaining report while at the same time keeping under our contractual obligations.

Now, for the not as good news…As much as we’d like to stay in town overnight or even for the week, that’s just not gonna happen. We both have full-time jobs that made it tough just to make it to town for the day. We also plan to return on Sunday, April 26th, for the Kevin’s appearance and the Oni panel at the ComicCon. Many of you have been writing kindly with offers to show us around town, clue us in on some nightlife, or just to say hi. At this point, it doesn’t look like we’ll be spending more than those two seperate days in town. If we can meet up with any of you anywhere, we’ll do our best, but between the shooting schedule and the Con, we plan on keeping fairly busy while in town.

Anyway, we’re psyched about coming into Pittsburgh and looking forward to a good time. Watch the site for upcoming details both before the trip and certainly after our return!

• Wanna see ‘Chasing Amy’ on the big screen free of charge? Live in the Providence, Rhode Island area? Got some free time this weekend? Well my friend, you’re in luck! On the main green of Brown University, the flick will be showing this Saturday at midnight, outside on a huge screen on the side of one of the buildings! My college did this a few years back with Pink Floyd’s The Wall and it was a rousing success. The film is totally free as part of the school’s Spring Weekend party.
• Not to open up old wounds, but we thought this would make a nice follow-up regarding all of the “Object of My Affection” stuff we talked about…A local Las Vegas newspaper referred to the film by saying, “…it might as well be called ‘Chasing My Picture Perfect Best Friend Amy’s Wedding for Nine Months.'” Thought you might be interested. No hate mail, please!
