• Wanna see ‘Chasing Amy’ on the big screen free of charge? Live in the Providence, Rhode Island area? Got some free time this weekend? Well my friend, you’re in luck! On the main green of Brown University, the flick will be showing this Saturday at midnight, outside on a huge screen on the side of one of the buildings! My college did this a few years back with Pink Floyd’s The Wall and it was a rousing success. The film is totally free as part of the school’s Spring Weekend party.
• Not to open up old wounds, but we thought this would make a nice follow-up regarding all of the “Object of My Affection” stuff we talked about…A local Las Vegas newspaper referred to the film by saying, “…it might as well be called ‘Chasing My Picture Perfect Best Friend Amy’s Wedding for Nine Months.'” Thought you might be interested.
