• You know, we’ve gotten mail on news stories before, but NEVER in this volume! TONS of you wrote (some even complained) about the story regarding “The Object of My Affection” (The Aniston flick we mentioned yesterday), so we figured we’d better follow up on the story. Yes, we realize that it was written before Amy and in production, but the fact remains that, without Chasing Amy’s success, this film would be in production limbo and probably never made at all. The reason we mentioned it being a ripoff yesterday was, yes, based SOLELY on the film synopsis we read and the preview that we saw. Based on this though, it CERTAINLY looks like they’re going for the look and feel of a reversed “Chasing Amy”.

Sorry, but we sometimes do like to get a bit opinionated on the website. It’s up to you to decide for yourself if you want to see a movie or not. So check the flick out for yourself if you think it’s going to be good. Personally, we think it’ll tank at the box office and not even come close to the writing and brilliant performances in Amy. Then again, that’s OUR opinion.
