- The BBC’s Film 99 show is having a poll on the best films of the Century (well, Millenium, but let’s face it, how many films can you namecheck pre-1900?), so we suggest all you British fanboys and girls out there place your vote. This IS limited to films that have been given a cinematic release, so this counts out Mallrats, which didn’t get a theatrical run in the UK, believe it or not. Clerks & Chasing Amy DID though, and we wonder if Dogma might be slipped in, too, considering it comes out 5 days before the new year! To vote, phone 0900 133 9919, or go to the website HERE to nominate your top 5 cinematic releases of the last “Millenium”. Not only would it help Kev to have his name out there in the UK, but it would also help stir up some publicity for Dogma. Results are put out on the last show of the series, and the website previously mentioned, on Tuesday December 7th.
- Another Universe’s Daily Buzz has some quotes from Kevin, AND a contest in which people can win tickets to see DOGMA by answering 3 trivia questions of a religious nature. This may be in yesterday’s buzz section by presstime, but shouldn’t be tough to find.
