Also of interest this month is the solicitation for the Clerks TPB, but more importantly, the cover for it that is done by Chris Bailey. It’s our second look at how these characters are going to look for the animated series, and our first look at Dante and Randal. Send us a scan if we don’t get one up sooner.

• Way cool stuff here…Though it WAS a slow month for Kevin in Wizard (just the flick and no new books out this month, really…) but the comic DID mention FEBRUARY 7TH as the official start date for the new Clerks Animated Series! This is only a couple short months away, so it’s pretty exciting stuff. Anyway, here’s a summary of what’s in the issue (including the bit on Clerks: TAS):

• Hi there. Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. We’re all turkeyed out (though that leftover turkey in my fridge is just screaming to be made into a sandwich any minute here, I think). Anyway, it’s the day known as black Friday now, when all the stores here REALLY start the Christmas push, and with most people off from work, boy do they ever get the business. Believe it or not, I’m going out to brave the crowds today, maybe start on my shopping (amazingly enough) but to also pick up a few of the multitude of things still needed for the house. Chris, the poor dude, is working.

Of course, that doesn’t mean we didn’t have time to prepare a post-Thanksgiving update. No siree. Again, things are back to a regular pace again, so it’s a fairly small one, but we DO have the latest View Askew type appearances from Wizard and Previews, as well as a couple of other tidbits. Read on:

• Dogma’s UK coverage continues with release just one month away. Heat magazine keeps up its good work with a Chris Rock interview this week – sadly not too many Dogma references. There’s the usual “We meet Chris Rock, star of Lethal Weapon 4 and the upcoming Dogma”, as well asa brief chat about the differences between working on a film the size of Dogma and Lethal Weapon. There’s a pic taken from the movie with Chris and Kevin.

Also spotted in the pages of The Sun newspaper…A shot of Salma Hayek in combat fatigues – she’s entertaining troops right now…No mention of Dogma in the piece, however.

• Finally, voting started today for the seat of Kensington and Chelsea…If you recall, this is the office we once heard Alan Rickman might be lining up for. As far as we know, that rumor died out and he’s no longer involved. Just an FYI.

According to Corona, “Coyote Ugly” is again the name of that flick Kevin helped scribe (after having its name changed to “Bandito Smiles”).

• Malcolm Ingram (director of the rarely seen “Drawing Flies” (and PLEASE stop asking us, no it’s not out in theaters or on tape anywhere, and there’s no copies to be had!) reports that his NEW flick, “Tail Lights Fade” (starring a nice ensemble, including current Bond babe Denise Richards – yowza) can be seen at a special promo screening for anyone in the Vancouver or Toronto areas on December 1st and 2nd. Reply to Malcolm on the VA Web Board if you’re interested in a first look! The film opens on the 3rd in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver.
