…from Atlanta. Spent a day doing local press, as well as CNN and t.v. stuff. Friday night, we had what seemed like the best screening of the movie yet at this College Media Convention. Many thanks to the crowd for the hoots, the hollers, and the standing ‘O’. Hopefully, the two hour plus Q&A didn’t disappoint.
We’re getting closer and closer now, folks. In the big city papers this weekend (NY Times, LA Times, etc.) Lions Gate ran the four ads with the cast breakdown. Also, Lions Gate shipped us (and many theatres) a huge, cardboard ‘Dogma’ standee. This is the first standee we’ve ever had on a film, so we were all pretty excited. It’s now in the window of the Stash.
Tomorrow night is Conan, and Thursday is Total Request Live, as well as a screening for the National Board of Review at night. Say a prayer for yours truly.
Friday is the Pittsburgh screening, at which I hope to see a few of you. >From there, it’s off to L.A. for some last minute press (print and t.v.), before coming home for the opening weekend (which is also the weekend Harley’s getting Baptised). If I don’t show up ’round here for a couple weeks, that’s why.

November 4th – Kevin & Jay On MTV Total Request Live (NOTE: Shannen Doherty also appears on Conan tonight — Kevin narrowly missed her! That would have been a fun show.)

November 10th – Kevin Smith on Politically Incorrect (NOTE: NEW ANNOUNCEMENT!)
